Help police identify and apprehend rapists

"The suspects assaulted the partner and took turns to rape the woman," said Warrant Officer Sebonyane.

A trip to the shop on Friday, 2 March at about 2.35am became a harrowing experience for a woman and her partner. As they were approaching their home on their way back, they fell victim to two attackers.

“When they saw the men approaching them, they tried to run away but the two men caught up with them, assaulted the partner and took turns to rape the woman,” said Warrant Officer Raymond Sebonyane, Westonaria Police spokesperson.

Constable Thomas Malaka of the Family Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Unit saw to it that identity kits of the two suspects were drawn up with the assistance of the victims.

The Westonaria Police are appealing to the community at large to help identify the two suspects and provide information about their whereabouts.
