One dead, five injured in weekend crash
Woman killed and several others injured in a two-vehicle crash in Westonaria on Saturday.
A woman died and five other people were injured when two vehicles collided on the N12 in Zuurbekom, Westonaria early on Saturday morning (10 February).

Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson said, “When ER24 arrived on the scene before 2am, another medical service was already in attendance. A woman was found to have sustained fatal injuries and we declared the person dead on scene. Five others sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
“ER24, as well as the other medical service, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.”
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known.
