Two trapped and killed in gruesome crash
Man and woman die, two others injured in gruesome accident in Westonaria yesterday.
Two people were killed and two others critically injured in a gruesome two-vehicle collision between two bakkies at the intersection of the N12 and R28 in Westonaria on the night of Tuesday, 6 February.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, said paramedics arrived on the scene to find two wrecked bakkies lying in the middle of the intersection.

“Upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered the bodies of a man and woman lying trapped inside one of them. They were assessed and found to have already succumbed to their multiple injuries. Nothing more could be done for them and they were declared dead.
“Two other patients, from the second bakkie, had already been transported by provincial services prior to the arrival of ER24. Both patients were reported to be in a critical condition.”
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
