Help rebuild the house of evil

The house at 41 Henning Street, where drugs are allegedly sold and prostitution is practised is building up the house.

Ekklesia Equipping Ministries, which is renovating the infamous house on Henning Street, is running a raffle, with a Travel Billow – a blanket and pillow in one – for a boy or girl as prize.

Barend Kotzé, 26, who is leading this renovation project 41 Henning Street, where drugs are allegedly sold and prostitution is practised, said the raffle will help support their efforts to rebuild and renovate this house. The ticket price is 1 ticket for R20, or 3 tickets for R50.

The draw for the raffle winner will be on 2 March. The winner can choose between a boy or girl Travel Billow.

Ekklesia Equipping Ministries is a non-profit organisation (NPO) running a project called the Hope Foundation Project.“The primary focus and goal of the Hope Foundation Project is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to reach out with a hand of hope to alleviate human suffering and help them grow in their faith in God,” he said.

The Hope Foundation Project will provide a place of care, encouragement and support to everyone on a spiritual, physical and emotional level so that they can carry their unexpected and untimely burdens more effectively.

“At our community workshops, we will train women and men who are without formal employment and have few opportunities to find work in basic business and working skills so that they can provide for their families,” he added.
