This is a four-week outdoor fitness programme for women, which will make you break a sweat and drop those festive kilos in no time. The first boot camp of 2018 started on 8 January. On 27 January at 12 noon, the much-awaited Power of Purple event will start at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand, and will end at 12 midnight. The Cansa Relay for Life, originally scheduled for Saturday 25 November 2017, was postponed because of torrential, but much-needed, rain. This will be the fifth Cansa Relay for Life event held in Randfontein, by the community for the community. The main purpose of the event is to celebrate, remember and fight back against the terrible disease – cancer. The most important people at the event are the survivors. There will be live entertainment by the likes of Tanya V, Franna, Monique West, and many more. There will be lots of fun for the children, including jumping castles and face painting. There will be fun-filled team experiences throughout the event to raise funds for education, care and support services. The first 2018 Ngwenya Country Market will take place on Sunday, 4 February and thereafter on every first Sunday of the month. The monthly event has proven to be one of the most popular in town with visitors streaming into Ngwenya Glass Village to spend a day in the sun, meet friends and do their weekly shopping. • 21 April 2018: WWE Live SA tour at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg

Tickets for WWE Live South Africa in Cape Town, Johannesburg and, for the first time, Pretoria, are now available. The tour begins at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town on Wednesday, April 18, before debuting at the Sun Arena, Time Square, Pretoria, on Friday, April 20.
