Big dance line-up at this year’s Show

There will be plenty of country rock and hip-hop to look forward to at this year's Randfontein Show.

Get on down to the Randfontein Show on Friday night, 2 March and shake your booty!

When you come across words like House, Krump, Popping, Locking, Waacking, Vogue, Old School, New School, Dancehall, Swag, Ragga, Kwaito, Sbuja, Latin, Lyricla and Breakdance in a dancing context, then you know it is all about hip-hop.

And hip-hop it will be at 6pm on Friday, 2 March at the Randfontein Show.

“The brand new #Leave it on the floor Hip Hop Dance competition, sponsored by Tambotie Mall, is a first at the Show and we are expecting dozens of entries from schools and dance studios all over the West Rand,” said Marcelle Mans, Show Coordinator.

The competition is open to solo dancers as well as crews in the age categories Kids (ages 7 to 11), Juniors (ages 12 to 15) Adults (ages 16 and over).

Cash prizes are up for grabs and prize-giving takes place at 8.30pm. Entries close on Friday, 16 February. For more details call the Show Office on 011 412 2878/1562 or send an email to joy@randfonteininfo.co.za.

But … the night does not end there!

“After the competition, Show visitors can enjoy a spectacular LaserX Show (8.45pm) and then dance the night away from 9pm to the foot-stomping sounds of Azurdee and The Blue River Band, an energetic country rock band,” said Marcelle.

Don’t forget to buy your discounted Show tickets at one of many outlets, available until 28 February.
