Are you a people-pleaser?

Learn to say "No" to people.

A lot of people become people-pleasers, then they start feeling used, and eventually they feel like victims. Here are some tips to help you break the cycle:

Professional people will tell you that when you are a people-pleaser, and you start feeling like a victim, it is because you allow yourself to be a victim.

The truth is, people do not make you a victim – you volunteer. Also, if you blame other people for your unhappiness, you need to get rid of that victim feeling by bringing some joy into your life.

Think positive and control your negative thoughts. Make new, happy friends and avoid negative people.

Accept that playing victim is your choice and take charge of your life.

Remember, it is your duty to change when you need to get rid of the victim behaviour. Make a list for yourself of what makes you valuable and the good qualities you have.

Focus your energy on changing your behaviour. Learn to say “No” to people. If you never do, they will continue to have power over you.
