First day for Grade 1s at FJ Wells

Parents and kids' first day of school at FJ Wells.

It took a long time, seven years to be exact, for parents of FJL Wells Primary Mine School to watch their little ones grow up to finally attend their very first day of school on Wednesday, 17 January.

There was the usual settling-in first, getting to know the friend next to you, and then the first meeting between teacher and learner while mommy and daddy watched through the classroom window.

Everyone was in good spirits though as the excitement as well as nerves are all part of the start to their education journey.
