WANTED: Police looking for these men

Police have released identikits of two men believed have been involved in a house robbery three months ago. Can you help police find them?

The Bekkersdal Police are looking for two men whom they believe were involved in a house robbery three months ago.

On 17 November at about 8pm, a man was said to be home with his family when they were attacked by three men, one armed with a firearm.

The intruders allegedly assaulted them, ransacked their house and robbed them of electrical appliances and cellphones. They later drove off in the victim’s vehicle.

“A case of house robbery and theft of motor vehicle was reported to the police and the suspects are still on the run,” said Sergeant Linkie Lefakana, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson.

An identity kit of the two suspects has been compiled.

The first suspect is 1,65 metres tall, of slender build and between 25 and 30 years old. The second suspect is 1,7 metres tall, of slender build and about the same age as the other suspect.

Anyone with information that could lead to their arrest is requested to contact the Bekkersdal Police on 011 755 0000.
