The bakkie was badly damaged and both vehicles were towed away at about 8am. Motorists should take extra care as the road is still littered with debris.
In December, a man was killed and several others injured when a light motor vehicle and a bakkie collided at the same intersection.
The traffic lights at the intersection were allegedly working in both cases, although at times they are faulty and/ or out of order and motorists are expected to regard it as a four-way stop, which is a huge concern to many, considering the volume of traffic using the notorious intersection.
