A 24-year-old man was killed during an alleged gang fight in Bekkersdal last week.
Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson said the incident took place at about 1.30pm on Thursday, 7 December.

They have since launched a manhunt for the suspect(s).
“It is alleged the victim was involved in a gang fight, and was wounded in his thigh. He was taken to the Bekkersdal West Clinic, but died on arrival. A case of murder was reported and we are investigating the motive surrounding the attack.
“The perpetrators are said to be members of a gang and are still at large. The Bekkersdal Police will not rest until they are brought to book.”
