RCA learners, parents make the most of Fun Day

It was all about fun and family at RCA's recent Fun Day.

The Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) is all about family and fun and that is exactly what Saturday, 25 November was all about.

RCA decided to host a family fun day with the children and their parents to end the year. The function was supposed to be outdoors with water slides, but the weather didn’t play along.

Principal, Doctor Chris Ayres.

“We decided to host the day indoors – not even rain was going to spoil the fun,” said Clarisse Venter, RCA’s spokesperson.

The guests were treated to music and a wide variety of food such as rolls and doughnuts. The children had great fun with face painting and a variety of other games. New parents for 2018 also decided to support the day and get to know the children and teachers.

Clarisse told the Herald that the school has decided to host a similar day on an annual basis.

“I was looking forward to the water slides, but I still had a lot of fun indoors,” said Mbali Duma.

The school would like to thank the community for its support.
