One dead‚ three injured when car rolled
Weekend vehicle crash leaves one man dead, three others seriously injured in Westonaria.
A man was killed and three others injured when a light motor vehicle rolled on the road to Hillshaven in Westonaria on Sunday, 3 December.
The three other victims, a man and two women, were assessed and found to have sustained critical to serious injuries.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the light motor vehicle lying some distance away in the veld. The four occupants had been ejected from the vehicle and were found lying a short distance away.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, said paramedics assessed the patients and found that one man had sustained numerous fatal injuries and showed no signs of life.
“Nothing more could be done for him and he was later declared dead,” said Meiring.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
