Business burglars busted

The suspects were traced and apprehended in the Westonaria area after Mamogale had been given information.

Three suspects with ages raging from 22 to 30 were arrested by Constable Tebogo Mamogale in connection with a business burglary that occurred between 16 August and 29 August 2017 at Marula Pub on Briggs Street in Westonaria.

According to Warrant Officer Raymond Sebonyane, a case was reported but the suspects were never apprehended.

“Through intensive investigation, the suspects were traced and apprehended in the Westonaria area after Mamogale had been given information,” said Sebonyane.

They will be charged with business burglary and will appear in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court soon.

The Westonaria Police station commander, Colonel Selvan Moonsamy commended the member for his good work and dedication. He urges the community to continue assisting the police to ensure that criminals are brought to book.
