RCA announces their leaders for 2018

The school has three types of leaders.

The Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) recently announced their newly elected leaders for 2018.

On 29 September, the school had its annual merit prize-giving, and announced next year’s leaders.

Class leaders: Nombulelo Ntsepo, Elzani Kirsten and Reabetswe Mawunda.

The school has three types of leaders, namely, class and academic leaders and a president.

The class leaders represent their classes. The primary duties of the class leaders usually include working with students to resolve problems. The academic leaders are chosen from among the children who shine in their academics. These leaders are an example to other learners in the school and encourage their fellows. The president is the student representative and also has the responsibility of leading class cabinet meetings and organising student activities and events.

The 2018 leaders are as follow:

Class leaders:

• Nombulelo Ntsepo – Grade 4

• Elzani Kirsten – Grade 5

• Reabetswe Mawunda – Grade 6

Academic leaders:

• Kaylin Pretorius – Grade 4

• Mbali Duma – Grade 5

• Ntlafatso Sibisi – Grade 6

President:

• Reabetswe Mawunda

“We are very proud of the children and we know that they will be very successful in their new leadership year,” said the school’s spokesperson, Clarisse Venter.
