Police participate in fitness programme

The participants had a two-hour aerobics marathon with a team of professional instructors.

Major General Anna Mateisi, the West Rand Cluster commander recently called on all members of the police force to participate in fitness programmes.

The latest was held at the Cluster offices in Krugersdorp on 27 September. She believes a healthy lifestyle and healthy body would be excellent tools for fighting crime within the cluster.

The program kicked off with an aerobics session followed by a two-hour aerobics marathon with a team of professional instructors led by Lerato Mokhadi.

“This programme is not only for police officials – it also caters for our Public Service Act (civilian) members,” said Constable Lucky Matome.
