“Quick reaction by Randfontein Visible Policing members secured an arrest and the retrieval of a hijacked vehicle,” said Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson.

Ernst continued on Wednesday, “One suspect residing in Soweto and another from Krugersdorp were arrested during Monday night.”

The police members also confiscated numerous items of suspected stolen property, including car radios, reflector jackets, GPS equipment and even police items such as name tags, teargas and handcuffs. They were also found in possession of tools that are used to change engine numbers,” Captain Ernst continued.

The members are applauded for the efforts they made in the investigation.
