RCA create their own candles

Big group of learners from RCA recently paid Magalies Candles a visit.

The primary school children from Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) recently went on a fun adventure visit to Magalies Candles.

The group consisted of 35 children ranging from Grade RR to Grade 7.

The children could not wait to make their very own colourful candles,” said Clarisse Venter, school spokesperson.

Clarisse told the Herald the school wanted to have a different outing for the children, something that could be educational and fun at the same time.

The staff at Magaliesburg Candles explained to the children how to dip the candles and make a variety of colours.

“The children could choose between a large variety of shapes and sizes,” said Clarisse.

After the trip, the children had lunch at the Wimpy where they could play in the playground and have a delicious milkshake. They could not wait to go home and show their families their creative candles, and are looking forward to their next trip, which will take place soon.
