Four people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled in Uitvalfontein, Randfontein on the night of Sunday, 27 August.
According to Ineke van Huyssteen, an ER24 spokesperson, “When ER24 arrived on scene at 8.43pm, the driver and one of the passengers of the vehicle were lying outside the vehicle. It is believed that both of them were ejected.
“One patient was still seated in the vehicle and another was walking around on the scene.

The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and had to be airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan helicopter to Mediclinic Sandton for further medical care. The other three passengers were transported by another medical service on the scene to a nearby hospital.”
She added, “The exact circumstances of the incident are not yet known.”
