On Saturday, 19 August, the annual Charity Drug Run will be hosted by Turn to Eternal Life (TTEL) Bible Ministries with Pastor Edward van Schalkwyk.
This Charity Drug Run is in aid of the fight against drugs. The mission of this run is clear in the quote they use, “The only thing cool about drugs … is your body temperature when you are dead”. Edward, co-founder of the TTEL Bible Ministries has extensive experience of the danger of drug addiction in the West Rand communities.
The bikers mass ride will start at 8.30am at the BP service station on Luipaard Street, Krugersdorp. Afterwards everyone will meet up at the Rand-en-Dal Clinic School on Sterkfontein Road in Krugersdorp at 10am where the event will carry on until late. There will be food stalls, bands, a kids corner, guest speakers and much more on the day.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the day, or partake in the bikers mass ride. The entrance fee is donations or non-perishable food.
