A lucky shopper from Randfontein, Ansibel Sprong, recently took part in a trolley dash to the value of R5 000 at Checkers Tambotie Mall. She won the trolley dash after finding a mini golden trolley with Checkers Little Shop 2 mini-collectibles.
A total of 20 trolley dashes are up for grabs with Little Shop 2, exclusive to Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores across South Africa. Lucky customers who find a mini golden trolley will each win a trolley dash worth R5 000.
According to Angelique Wagner, Shoprite Checkers Publicity Manager, “Fourteen of the 20 golden trolleys have been found, so six are still up for grabs”.
Ansibel was cheered on by staff as she ran around the store trying to fill her trolley.
She managed to fill it with groceries and household goods worth R5 748,26.
