Help these beauties get to Turkey!

Both of these girls belong to the Toekomsrus Philantropic Foundation Arts Academy in Westergloor.

Cassidy Hogins, 12, and Gadbury Horsley, 6, both have the opportunity to go to Turkey on 26 September where the 28th International Children’s Competition – Festival Beauty, the Fashion and Talent World Final, will take place.

Both of these girls belong to the Toekomsrus Philantropic Foundation Arts Academy in Westergloor.

Cassidy became interested in modelling and pageants at the age of six. Her parents, Tom and Florence Hogins had this to say about their daughter’s achievements: “It is amazing how well she is doing. Things are really happening for her.” A wise Cassidy, Miss Mini Teen South Africa 2017, told the Herald,

“Beauty does not matter, it is beauty from the inside that counts. The motto I live by is never give up, never surrender.”

Gadbury has previously won Miss Little Dare to Care 2016. She also won Miss Tiny Gauteng 2016. This year she won Model of the year 2017 at the Bodyfit fashions show and Miss Tiny Africa 2017, which was held in Kempton Park.

Her father, Robert Horsley, says that he is a very proud father, and that Gadbury really impresses him with her talent.

Both of these beautiful girls need funding from the community and businesses to be able to go to Turkey in September. If you are able to assist them, please contact Maritza (journalist) from the Herald on 011 693 3671 or email her at maritzaz@caxton.co.za
