From victim of bullies to princess

Bullied teen shines as TV personality/ princess/ model/ actress.

Just as Cinderella does in the all-time Disney classic movie, Kariska Kotze, a 14-year-old, has risen from the ashes of being bullied.

Kariska told the Herald her story of being bullied during her primary school days, which are thankfully over as she now home schools.

She said she knew from a young age that she was different from the other girls, because while they would go out and play, she was shy and reserved to the point of being withdrawn, and uninterested in all activities except drama.

Kariska said watching movies was her only release from the bullying she had to endure. One day, she decided to start competing in drama competitions, and excelled.

Read her full story in the Herald‘s 30 June edition.
