SABC 1, Mzansi’s leading youth TV channel, is excited to announce an amazing opportunity for Mzansi’s aspiring youth. SABC 1’s Youth Day symposium, themed Own Your Space, will have approximately 25 young people between the ages of 16 and 20 be part of an interactive audience on the set of the youth talk-show, Daily Thetha. The event will take place on Friday, 16 June at Shine Studios in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. A number of Mzansi’s leading trailblazers in different fields, from broadcasting to business, will be in attendance to inspire and encourage them to aim for the sky and fulfill their dreams. The winner will also get a chance to bring a friend as his/ her partner to the symposium.

5FM is giving their youthful listeners an opportunity to live their radio dream and live loud with their favourite station. On 16 June, eight youthful South Africans will have a chance to take over the 5FM airwaves between 6am and 6pm, alongside the 5FM DJs.

Kicking off with The Roger Goode Show at 6am, followed by HammanTime at 9am, The Forbes and Fix Show at 12 noon and ending with Thabooty Drive at 3pm, 5FM will have two people join the team on each show.
