On Friday, 9 June, the Herald took to the streets to ask residents what they would braai on a cold evening.
A number of residents gave their suggestions on camera and suggested everyone should keep it simple. No side dishes.
Quinton Stuart suggested braaiing rolls to have with soup, and vetkoek the next day. Friendly Freddy said pork chops that are well seasoned, with no side dishes, keeping it nice and simple.
Well-known Robert from the Greenhills circle suggested steak and wors with nice Boere pap and sauce.
