#KnysnaFireVictims: Thank you R’fontein for your support

Another bakkie load of community support for Knysna fire victims.

There has been overwhelming support from Randfonteiners as they rallied behind relief efforts for fire-ravaged Knysna.

That was evident when the Herald received yet another bakkie load of community support for the Knysna fire victims on Tuesday morning (13 June). The bakkie was filled to the brim with supplies such as bottled water, baby cots and food, toiletries, non-perishable food, blankets and dog food – all thanks to you, Randfontein!

By last Friday, the Herald had already received more than four bakkie loads of donations. This will now be sorted and packed into boxes to be sent to Knysna.

The fire victims would like to thank the community on the West Rand for their generous donations to the relief efforts. Their needs have been met for the time being and community members are requested to hold back any further donations they may have or to donate them to other needy organisations.
