A body was found in the veld on Steyer Street, Aureus during the weekend.
According to a reliable source, the body was discovered by a number of passers-by and motorists during the day on Saturday, 10 June.
Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police’s spokesperson, confirmed that an investigation is under way.

“We have opened an inquest into the death of the person. At this stage we can only confirm the person’s death.”
