A woman in her early 60s is said to be in a critical condition and had to be airlifted to hospital after she was allegedly brutally attacked on a plot in Ten Acres on Monday, 22 May.
It is said the incident took place between 12 noon and 4pm. According to various sources, the woman was attacked in her home and was allegedly found lying on the kitchen floor by her 80-year-old female friend, who lives with her.

ER24, Community Policing Forum Sector 5 B members and EPR reaction vehicles were on the scene. Hendrik van Wyk, Chairperson of Sector 5B, confirmed the attack, saying, “The helicopter landed at the Highway Spar.”
According to other reliable sources, the woman was attacked with a sharp object and had apparently sustained severe head injuries. Three ambulances were allegedly on the scene and after a joint decision, they decided to have her airlifted.
