The Westonaria Family Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) has compiled an identikit of a vicious rapist.
According to Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police’s spokesperson, the suspect allegedly attacked a commuter waiting for a taxi in Westonaria Borwa in March this year.

“He allegedly strangled and wrestled with her on the side of the road. He then raped her,” Ernst said.
Suspect description
• Complexion: Coffee-coloured
• Build: Medium
• Age: Between the ages of 31 and 35
• Height: 1,7 metres
• Language: Southern Sotho
• Temperament: Aggressive
• Weapons: Last seen carrying a knife
• Clothes last seen in: Light blue takkies, khaki trousers, long-sleeved buttoned khaki T-shirt and a khaki bucket cap with a green folded edge.
• Other identifying features: Two scars on his face, and an earring in one ear
