Join U3A West Rand – and go places!

The speaker for 9 May will be John Giani, who will speak about how the finance world has changed in our lifetime.

The U3A West Rand group visited the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Farm and the Margaret Roberts Herb farm recently, and had great fun.

At the U3A West Rand meeting in April, the group turned one year old, after growing steadily throughout the year. The members met new people and made new friends. They listened to interesting talks by various speakers, went out to lunches and outings and are looking forward to the new year .

” We would like all pensioners to join us and be part of all the fun! Membership is only R50 per annum or pay R20 per function as a visitor. Tea/ coffee and biscuits are served at R5 per cup. You can also share your hobbies and interest with others in the same interest groups,” said Marthie Coetzer.

The group’s meetings take place at the NG Kerk Wilgespruit, on the corner of Mimosa- and Wag-‘n-Bietjie Roads in Wilro Park every second Tuesday of the month.

The meeting starts at 9:15 am for 10:00 am, and outings and lunches happen on the third Wednesday of the month.
