One dead, two injured in separate crashes
One dead, two injured after two separate unconfirmed crashes in Westonaria/ Randfontein.
A motorcyclist reportedly died and two other people were injured in two separate unconfirmed crashes in Westonaria and Randfontein over the weekend. However, the Herald contacted two emergency services but none of them had any record of these accidents.
On Saturday, 8 April, a fatal accident involving a bakkie and a motorcycle allegedly occurred on Edwards Avenue, Westonaria. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries. On Sunday, 9 April, a motor vehicle accident on the R28 Westonaria Road allegedly left two people injured when a truck rear-ended a stationary vehicle.
It is also not clear whether the motorcyclist was male or female, and the medical condition of the occupants of the truck and light motor vehicle was also unknown at the time of going to print.
