Time for Teine U/21s to shine

The Randfontein Rugby Club U/21s have brand-new kit and are ready to play their hearts out in their new jerseys.

Randfontein Rugby Club (RRC) is getting more and more support from the community and this time the RRC U/21 team reaped the benefits of one of the club’s sponsors.

Monument Toyota Randfontein sponsored the team’s rugby kit comprising rugby shorts and jerseys. The kit was handed over to the U/21 team and their coach Jacques Conradie on the evening of Thursday, 6 April.

The car dealership also provided the catering for the event to make it all the more special for the young players. They donated boerewors, drinks and rolls so the young men could celebrate in true rugby fashion – around the braai.

Dana van Vuuren, their coach as well as the RRC chairman, thanked the two representatives from the dealership for investing in the team as well as the club.

They promised that their players and club will represent their brand to the best of their ability.

From the young team’s side, their captain Pieta Smit thanked the dealership for believing in them and said they will most definitely see a return on their investment in the team.

The U/21 team will be playing their first match in their new jerseys on Saturday, 8 April when they take on Wits at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand.
