Police hunt for armed, dangerous house robbers

Two possible 'armed and dangerous' suspects wanted for house robbery.

The West Rand Cluster Police are urgently requesting the assistance of the public in identifying and tracing two suspects linked to a 2016 house robbery.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, the Randfontein Police spokesperson, the house robbery took place in Krugersdorp in November, 2016.

Since the incident, the victim has managed to assist police in compiling identikits of the two suspects.

Description of the first suspect:

• Sex: Male

• Complexion: Medium

• Age: Between 31 and 35 years

• Height: Approximately 1,8m

• Build: Slender

• Language spoken: Zulu and Venda

• Armed: Yes

• Clothes last seen in: Charcoal hooded top with black trousers

Police say the first suspect seemed to be the leader of the group during the robbery.

Description of second suspect:

• Sex: Male

• Complexion: Light

• Age: Between 31 and 35 years

• Height: Approximately 1,7m

• Build: Slender, but strong

• Language spoken: Zulu

• Armed: Yes

Clothes last seen in: White T-shirt, grey trousers and a black beanie

The suspects fled the scene of the crime in the victim’s vehicle.

The police urge the public to contact the West Rand Trio Task Team on 079 496 6288 should they have any information regarding the two suspects.
