A number of strongmen and wrestlers paid Randfontein Primary School a visit on Monday, 27 February with good intentions.

The purpose of the surprise visit was to inform learners about bullying and why it’s wrong, drug abuse, and respecting your elders, yourself and those in authority in the only way kids know – with humour.

Mr Wrestling (Fred Harmse), 52, from World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) South Africa is the head of this initiative in which the wrestlers visit various schools to spread the message as mentioned above.

Renegade (George Niemandt), 47, the bad-boy biker, and Mr Wrestling (a Hulk look-a-like), Chaos Hardcore Barbell (Hellgard Coetzee), 55, and Diva (Zelda Haak), 39, have formed this powerful team in a bid to stop bullying. These wrestlers are mainly from the West Rand, with only Chaos being from Pretoria. Diva is the only female in the group, but she surely stole the limelight with her strength and build.

In this funny performance, they delivered the message loud and clear, but also made the pupils laugh. They were super excited when Mr Wrestling asked them whether Diva or Renegade was the strongest. The pupils made it clear that Diva (Zelda Haak), although female, definitely seems the stronger. Principal Greg Boatard also enjoyed the performance thoroughly and said the message definitely got through to the pupils.

Andre Killian, from MAD Entertainment in Randfontein, joined the wrestlers and said they are definitely going to be at the Randfontein Show. They would like to thank their sponsor, Ben Morgenrood, for his support.
