Top stations in the cluster announced

'Your contribution ensures that the West Rand Cluster performs well'

The West Rand Cluster Police recently congratulated its loyal officers and stations for keeping the area safe from October to December 2016.

Major General Anna Mateisi, the West Rand Cluster Commander, awarded numerous certificates to her officers and stations for putting their lives on the line to protect the citizenry.

The Kagiso Police took two awards back to their station, one for being the best overall in the cluster, and the other for being the best detectives in the cluster.

The Khutsong Police excelled in their operational efficiency, and also had the best crime prevention unit in the cluster.

As expected, the Tarlton Police, who have won many awards in the past for having a great Client Service Centre (CSC) took home the award for being the best at attending to complaints.

The Westonaria Police also took home an award, for achieving 100 per cent for their human and physical resource efficiency.

“Your efforts are appreciated and your contribution ensures that the West Rand Cluster performs well. Keep up the good work,” Mateisi said.

• 1st — Kagiso Police station (Station Commander: Brigadier Sipho Ngubane)

• 2nd — Khutsong Police Station (Station Commander: Colonel Melinda Prinsloo)

• 3rd — Tarlton Police Station (Station Commander: Lieutenant Colonel Christine Tsoaedi)

• 4th — Kagiso Detectives (Acting Branch Commander: Lieutenant Colonel Singo)

• 5th — Westonaria Police Station (Station Commander: Colonel Selvan Moonsammy)
