Altaar Bedieninge – Now also in English
"Everybody is welcome!" said pastor to English community as church announces English services.
Altaar Bedieninge/ Altar Ministries is starting an English service as of Sunday, 5 February.
Their services were previously only conducted in Afrikaans, but this has now changed.
Pastor Johan Dreyer is very excited about this new opportunity where all the members of the community can listen to the word of God in their preferred language.
Altaar Ministries was established in November 2014 in the gym of Mile-High Kickboxing Club in Wilbotsdal. Before each service, the congregants had to assemble their own seats, and put them away again afterwards to allow gym members space to use the gym equipment.
On Sunday, 10 July the new premises were opened by Pastor Johan Dreyer. Pastor Paul and Pastor Kenneth will also be involved in the English services.
Pastor Johan said, “Everybody is welcome!”
The Afrikaans service will start at 9am and the English service at 11am.
