M.O.T.H. charity drive warms hearts

Caprivi Bomgat Randfontein donates food parcels for the the less fortunate widows and widowers.

Caprivi Bomgat Randfontein recently donated food parcels to the less fortunate widows and widowers at the Westonaria Memorable Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H.) Cottages.

The donation was a charity drive held over December thanks to members of the Caprivi Bomgat unit having gone out and collected donations from willing sponsors.

M.O.T.H. Old Bill, Mark Joubert, organised an old fire engine from the municipality to transport ‘Father Christmas’ to the handover.

Mark thanked the organisers, ‘Father Christmas’, the sponsors as well as municipality for what they did to make the Festive Season period extra special for the less fortunate.

“Your companies have a reputation for caring for the less fortunate and your generous response to our request proves this reputation of yours is well earned. How comforting it is to know there people who do not only sympathise with the work that the M.O.T.H. do but are willing to do something positive to help. On behalf of all those people, your kindness touched, we thank you for your continued support.”
