DID YOU KNOW: There are 57 countries you can visit without a visa.

Travelling is an experience of a lifetime but can be a pain when it comes to visas.

Arton Capital, a residency and citizenship solutions provider, released its 2017 Passport Index which includes 199 passports worldwide.

The index is a system that ranks passports by the number of countries it can gain access to without needing to apply for a visa.

For South Africans in 2017 there 57 countries that can be visited without needing a visa and 31 countries where a visa is only needed on entry.

These countries include:
