On Thursday, 19 January, various police officials, officers, detectives and units were awarded with certificates of appreciation for exceptional duties rendered.

This time, it was not Colonel Mashole Jacob Manamela who presented the certificates. Instead Colonel Petsana, acting station commander, did the thanking.

Among those awarded were familiar faces who always manage to stay on top of crime but a few unfamiliar faces also made it to the top and looked determined to stay there.
