Kerswense van inwoners in Randfontein.

Boesman van der Berg, 59, wens vir almal ‘n gesëende Kersfees en nuwe jaar toe. Sy wens is dat almal gelukkig sal wees en dat hy dalk in die nuwe jaar ‘n lewensmaat sal ontmoet.

Robert Pretorius, 37, wens vir die gemeenskap ‘n wonderlike Feesseisoen en veiligheid toe. Sy wens vir Kersfees is ‘n promponie aangesien hy nie vervoer het nie.

Coenie Oosthuizen, 65, wil graag die gemeenskap daaraan herinner dat Kersfees ‘n Christus-fees is en dat dit nie gaan oor die geskenke en Kersbome nie. Hy wens die gemeenskap ‘n geseënde Kersdag toe.

Eddie Kleinhans, 36, het een groot wens vir die gemeenskap vir Kersfees en die jaar 2017 – vrede.

Eugene Softley, 49, is ‘n baie interessante inwoner wat vir die gemeenskap en vir homself gesondheid toewens vir die Kerstyd en die jaar 2017. Sy wens is om eendag aan die Olimpiese Spele deel te neem. Hy was ‘n Springbok-stoeier in sy dae maar was later vir een en ‘n halwe jaar van ‘n rolstoel afhanklik.

Alderman Roy Harris may be taking a short break away from the town this festive season, after a long and tiring year, but wishes the town a splendid Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Chanté du Toit is a long-time resident of Randfontein, who lives in Eike Park. She wishes the town a very merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

The Rand West City Executive Mayor, Mzi Khumalo, wishes his city a jolly but safe and responsible Christmas as well as a happy New Year. He said the most important thing was that residents should take the time to appreciate their families and also think of those who are less fortunate during this festive season. Khumalo also took the opportunity to thank the townsfolk for all their support of the merger of Randfontein and Westonaria.

The Randfontein Police and Traffic Police top dogs wish to extend their warmest seasons greetings to the townspeople. Brigadier Mashole Jacob Manamela of the Police, and Traffic Chief Kenny Mampondo, both wish Randfonteiners a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. The two law enforcement agencies, Traffic Police and Police have joined hands this festive season to keep the townspeople safe from road carnage and crime. Manamela said, “I would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody a happy, merry Christmas and a happy New Year.” “We want to indeed wish each and every road user from a motorist to a cyclist, from a biker to a pedestrian, a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” Mampondo added.

“Randfontein moet ‘n geseënde en veilige feestyd hê,” sê 22-jarige Clinton Jacobs, wat in Greenhills woon.

Sindie Maartens sê: “Geniet Kersfees, en voorspoedige nuwe jaar vir almal.”

Wilner van Wyk, wat ‘amper 9’ is, sê hy hou lekker vakansie en hy kan nie wag vir graad 3 nie.

Gerda Benadie stuur baie liefde en meen Randfontein moet ‘n baie lekker feestyd hê en dit saam met familie vier.

Sandy Mabe, 32, from Culemborg Park says, “Have a nice holiday and a happy New Year.”
