VIDEO: 1 000s gather for Black Friday madness
The Black Friday shopping madness is far from over.
Thousands of feet made it through the doors of Village Square Mall for Black Friday specials on Friday.
The main attraction was Checkers and even now, hundreds are in the store and are queuing outside to get a piece of the action. This morning was worse when shoppers showed up in all their numbers to be the first to buy the specials before they ran out.
One young woman, Mpho Mashao, came all the way from Westonaria to do her Black Friday shopping and said she spent three hours in the store to buy a few of the specials.
Various other shops in the mall had their fair share of Black Friday madness and shoppers are far from being done.
