Woman, 70, on a quest for her long-lost family

Sad long-lost family case: A 70-year-old woman's desperate search.

A 70-year-old woman wandered into the Randfontein Police Station approximately two weeks ago, and police are urgently looking for her family.

The woman, Rosinah Tladi, is disorientated and prone to seizures,” said Captain Appel Ernst, the Randfontein Police spokesperson.

Rosinah has since been taken to Leratong Hospital for medical attention, but is destitute.

“It is believed that she might originate from Laaste Hoop in Limpopo since she keeps on referring to the place when asked where she comes from,” Ernst said.

She added that it is possible that Rosinah has family living in Kagiso Extension 11 or Rietvallei Extension 2 or 3.

Any person who might be able to assist in locating Rosinah’s family should please contact Captain Ernst on 082 853 0403.
