New wheels for baby sanctuary

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary will now be able to transport all babies safely with their brand new Suziki Ertiga.

Suzuki West Rand recently donated a brand new seven-seater Suzuki Ertiga to Just in Time Baby Sanctuary.

According to Georgina Caetano, founder of the Just In Time Baby Sanctuary, one of her life-long friends submitted the Sanctuary’s business proposal to DSV Global Transport and Logistics’ corporate social investment division which is DBL (Delivering Better Lives).

“Our first and most important need on our needs list was a reliable multi-passenger vehicle. Not too long after my friend submitted our proposal, I received a call from Mel Such, a DBL member. He said they would like to help us buy a vehicle.

They gave me a budget, and well, I went shopping for the perfect vehicle,” Georgina said.

She said it took her about a week of driving this new vehicle for reality to finally set in and that she will now be able to transport all the babies safely.

“I am so overwhelmed, but we are most definitely very thankful and humbled. The sense of reliability and safety surpasses everything else,” she concluded.

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is a non-profit organisation and doesn’t receive any funds from the government. The Sanctuary depends entirely on the generosity of the public to offer a place of safety for abandoned babies.

All donations are welcome.
