Bus, vehicle collision leaves three injured

Three men were injured after a bus and light motor vehicle collided head-on on the Akasia Road in Libanon in Westonaria on Friday morning (30 September).

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson says paramedics arrived on the scene and found both the vehicles in the middle of the road.

“Three men from the light motor vehicle as well as the bus driver were found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that the three men from the light motor vehicle had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Fortunately, no-one from the bus sustained any injuries.”

Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to the Fountain Private Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
