Three ‘criminals’ nabbed in two days

All three suspects were arrested for alleged crimes committed in Aureus.

EPR Security was on a roll in Aureus on 4 and 5 September. Their security officers arrested three suspects during that time.

The first arrest took place on 4 September in Fiat Street. EPR officers Riaan van der Schyff and Shaun McGee arrested a suspect after he allegedly had stolen goods from a premises on Dodge Street.

On 5 September two suspects were arrested in Fedler Street. According to an EPR crime report, reaction officer Marius Strydom was called to the scene, but when he heard noises at the premises from which they had received an alarm signal, he called for backup.

Shift supervisor Arnold du Plessis and reaction officer Mario Viljoen arrived and managed to arrest two suspects that were allegedly hiding on the premises.

All three suspects were handed over to the Randfontein Police for further investigations.
