Worry less and love more this Spring

How to keep you and your family healthy any time, anywhere when outdoors this Spring.

Spring is officially here and people are planning to spend time outdoors enjoying the sun with their families and friends.

The last things you want to be worried about are germs, but luckily you don’t have to worry – you can just wipe them away. Antibacterial wipes provide an easy and effective way to keep your hands clean, especially when access to hand-washing apparatus or even water is limited.

The manufacturers of Dettol have provided us with a list of different uses for personal hygiene wipes that will keep you and your family healthy – any time, anywhere.

• Picnics

Having a picnic at a local park is something fun to do with family or friends during a weekend. It can get messy though, so be prepared and keep a pack of hygiene wipes nearby to clean sticky hands.

• Car

If you knew how many germs can be found in a car you would be shocked. We lead such hectic lives that the last thing on your mind is the germs lurking on the door handles, steering wheel and dashboard. Keep a packet of hygiene wipes in the cubbyhole – they always come in handy, especially when you have kids to help wipe away the germs.

• Travelling

If you’re planning a little getaway and will be staying in a hotel, guest house, B&B, or self-catering unit, protect yourself by using personal hygiene wipes to clean your hands after handling commonly used items like the phone, TV remote, and door handles.

• Eating out

When visiting public places like restaurants, it is important that you clean your hands before and after eating. It’s also wise to be aware of the different spots where germs hide – the feeding chair and toilet seat are probably the two most common spots you’d want to consider wiping down.

• Shopping

Shopping trolleys carry huge amounts of dirt and grime, because everyone touches them. To avoid picking up germs that will make you ill, wipe the trolley’s handle and child seat before putting your child into the trolley.
