Randfontein Police are investigating a ‘concealment of birth’ case after a foetus was found next to a gravel road in Helikon Park during the morning of Sunday, 28 August.
According to Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson the foetus was found in Arend Drive between Helikon Park and Eike Park.
It is believed the foetus was discovered in a refuse bag by a recycler who was looking for recyclable items just after the gravel road starts on Arend Drive.
