WATCH: Mischievous roof-climbing dogs in action

From baboons roaming the streets to dogs on a house's roof.

Over the past few weeks, Randfontein’s animals have gone wild.

A baboon has been roaming the town’s streets and a pig was found in the Central Business District (CBD) but most recently, dogs have been frolicking on top of their owner’s house.

The owner, Rudi van den Berg, said his Jack Russells have been finding their way on the roof since they were puppies. He explained that it all started when his male, Buster, was playing fetch and climbed all the way on top of the house’s roof to get the ball.
