[WATCH] More suspects may appear in court

The two suspects arrested in connection with the #TripleMurder case to make their third appearance in court today (24 June).

The two men accused of murdering three Krugersdorp residents last month will make their third appearance in court today, 24 June.

The 29- and 32-year-old suspects, who are facing 10 charges each (murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, theft and kidnapping), will be appearing in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court for their bail application.

Since their arrest on 3 June, no further arrests have been made.

The News has been in constant contact with the West Rand Police Cluster spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst regarding any updates, but nothing has been forthcoming. However, members of the community have indicated that more than a handful of people have been questioned in connection with the murders.

The News has been given the names of possible suspects linked to the murders, and rumour has it that more suspects may take the stand today.

News journalist Marizka Coetzer will be tweeting live from the courtroom during the bail application and will confirm the allegations as soon as they are made available in court.
