EPR Security have once again been patrolling through the night to establish where and how criminals are operating and nabbing them before they get a chance to strike.
During the week of 10 to 14 June, EPR reaction officers have been operating tirelessly in Randfontein and Westonaria.
Their crime reports show during that week, Westonria had almost as many incidents of crime as Randfontein. The most targeted areas in Westonaria were the Westonaria residential areas. In Randfontein, Helikon Park was the most targeted area with Homelake not far behind.
EPR crime report from 10 to 14 June:
Westonaria:
• Fraud – McGregor Street. One suspect arrested. (Credit card fraud).
• Damage to property – President Kruger Street. (Firearm discharged in street and bullet lodged into counter).
• Theft – Smouspoort Street, Glenharvie. (Theft out of shop).
• Theft – McGregor Street. (Theft out of shop).
• Theft – Briggs Street. (Out of house).
• Attempted robbery – Normand Street. Three suspects arrested.
• Vehicle use without permission – Edwards Avenue. (Two vehicles taken).
• Domestic Violence – Gardenia Street.
• Theft – Gardenia Street. (Out of house). One suspect arrested.
• Damage to property – Briggs Street. (Window damaged).
• Domestic violence – Normand Street.
• Tresspassing – Bainskloof Street, Glenharvie. Two suspects fled.
• Theft – Allen Street. Locks removed from the door.
• Break in – Edwards Street.
Randfontein:
• Break in – Rikasrus. (Window broken).
• Robbery – Elaine Street, Homelake.
• Break in – Rikasrus. (Back door damaged).
• Tresspassing – Greenhills Avenue, Greenhills. Suspects fled.
• Damage to property – Patrys Street, Helikon Park. (Window damaged).
• Fire – Condor Street, Helikon Park.
• Break in – Fedler Street, Aureus. (Window broken).
• Theft – Elandsvlei. (Out of premises).
• Assualt – Main Reef Road, Central Business District (CBD).
• Damage to property – Steyer Street, Aureus. (Lock damaged).
• Damage to property – Loumarina. (Fence damaged).
• Damage to property – Middelvlei. (Fence damaged).
• Disturbance – Willem Street, Wilbotsdal. (Loud music).
• Robbery – Middelvlei. Six suspects arrested.
• Break in – Willem Street, Greenhills. (Back door damaged).
• Stock theft – Doornfontein. (Sheep stolen).
• Trespassing – Kiewiet Street, Helikon Park. Suspect fled.
• Trespassing – Wall Street, Homelake. Two suspects fled.
